He starred with the role of Tadzio in 1971"Death in Venice" during
music academy enrollment in school.
The previous year, the youth movie "A Swedish Love Story" of
up-and-coming supervisor Roy Anderson .
It was his movie debut (this work was exhibited also in Japan and won popularity)
at the role of a
leading actor's friend.
He visited Japan twice in August and December, 1971,and he appeared also
on CM of chocolate.
Two music of commercial songs which he sang at this time.
They became two single records and were put on the market from CBS Sony.
Although he declared "There is no mind which becomes a player"
and many fans were discouraged at the interview .
His comeback was "Bluff Stop" made in 1977 by Director Jonas
Conwell.
After that he appeared on some movies, stages, TV series, etc. till the beginning
of the 90s in his native country.
１９５５年１月２６日 ストックホルム生まれ。
１９７１年、アドルフ・フレドリック音楽学校在学中に「ベニスに死す」にタジオ役で主演（撮影は７０年）。
その前年にスウェーデンの新進監督ロイ・アンデルソンの青春映画「純愛日記」に主人公の
友人役で映画デビュー（この作品は日本でも公開され、好評を博した）。
１９７１年８月と１２月に２度来日し、チョコレートのCMにも出演。この時彼が歌ったCMソング２曲は
レコードになってCBSソニーから発売された。
来日時のインタビューでは「役者になる気はない」と宣言し多くのファンを落胆させたが、
１９７７年、ヨナス・コーンウェル監督の「BLUFF STOP（絶壁）」でカムバック。
その後９０年代初頭までは本国で映画や舞台、TVシリーズなどにも出演。
私生活では１９８３年に結婚。エルヴィンという男児、ロビンという女児をもうける。
１９８６年クリスマスにエルヴィンを乳幼児突然死症候群で亡くし、その後離婚。２００９年ごろ復縁？（未確認）
